Green Montessori

Green Montessori is the first authentic Montessori School with Islamic values in Indonesia. The school has been acknowledged as one of the top-tier schools in Indonesia and received grade A accreditation from the Education and Culture Ministry since 2018. Green Montessori School was officially nominated as "Healthy and Clean School" by the Jakarta Administration in 2019.

Usdiati Endah Purwati and Alhilal Hamdi always believe that education is the most wonderful contribution that they can provide for their beloved country, Indonesia. In 2010, they started a school and named it as Green Montessori School (GMS). GMS has three main core philosophies: Islamic Values, Montessori, and Respect for Nature. They dream that GMS will not only be a school that can provide a joyful and prepared learning environment for its students through Montessori method, but will also foster children to spread Islam as Rahmatan Lil Alamin (blessing for the whole world and its content) by promoting peace and kindness to all His creations. GMS also becomes the only and first Authentic Montessori School which integrated Islamic Values and Respect for Nature in Indonesia.

By mid-2014, GMS had expanded to 60 (sixty students). With the continued growth of enrolments, GMS decided to move to its current permanent facility in Duren Tiga Raya No. 133 starting January 19, 2015. By 2018, Green Montessori has served more than 250 families.
