Since 1986, Jakarta Montessori School has guided children through meaningful, hands-on learning within a calm and welcoming community. Here, children are respected as individuals and encouraged to grow at their own pace academically, socially, and emotionally.

Founded on 5 October 1986, Jakarta Montessori School is one of Indonesia's pioneering Montessori schools. We have remained committed to authentic Montessori principles while continuously evolving to meet the needs of today's learners. Our mission is to support each student's physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and moral development, empowering them to become confident, compassionate, and capable individuals who contribute positively to the world around them.

Jakarta Montessori School is recognised as a centre of excellence for Montessori education in Indonesia. We are fully accredited by the Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board (MEAB), United Kingdom, and hold national accreditation from Badan Akreditasi Nasional (BAN) Indonesia. As an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama), Jakarta Montessori School works closely with The Montessori Foundation, USA, to ensure the authentic implementation of Montessori philosophy and best practices throughout the school.
