Music-Infused Singapore Curriculum for over 45 years
Kinderland International Education is a member of Crestar Education Group, a leading provider of quality infant care, bilingual kindergarten and preschool education for children 2 months to 6 years of age. Kinderland's curriculum integrates the best education approaches and methodologies from the West and the values of morality and inter-personal relationships of the East.
This Singapore preschool system was adopted and launched in Indonesia in 1995. Besides in Jakarta, we have centres in Surabaya, Medan and Bandung and are looking to grow more in Indonesia.
The music-infused curriculum enhances language literacy in young children. Use of keyboard, percussion instruments, solfege singing and rhythm training provide crucial support for brain development in the child's early years. This programme is facilitated by professional music teachers with internationally-recognised qualifications.
With over 40 years as an Early Childhood provider, Kinderland's success in nurturing confident children has led to an extensive regional preschool network of over 60 centres – present in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangladesh.

- Children's Music Programme (CMP)Taught by professional music teachers, this core programme accelerates early childhood literacy development as well as visual-spatial and numeracy skills; children play keyboard, percussion instruments, and are introduced to weekly keyboard lessons from Kindergarten 1.
- KinderFitDeveloped by physical education specialists to emphasize holistic wellness, based on Rudolph Laban's movement-based framework and the cardiovascular fitness programme Feelin' Good; includes fundamental movement activities, cardio-wellness programmes, and lessons on healthy eating and nutrition, providing 50% more hours of physical activity than the national recommendation.
- Chinese Integrated CurriculumBased on expertise and resources from Kinderland's China network of over 20 centres including affiliation with Beijing Normal University, benchmarked against HSK International; synchronised with the English curriculum so similar themed topics are taught in both English and Chinese.
